  2. Oooh... We likes some Social D. Alas, last time through town they played on a school night, so the boy and i didn't go.

  3. I could never take Mike Ness seriousl (especially after the whole 30's crime video that came out last year). I think my favorite part of the Another State of Mind DVD is turning on the commentary from the Stern Brothers hearing them rip on Mike Ness [especially when he was putting on eyeliner for a more "sympathetic look"]).

I know a lot of people like them...and some of their stuff isn't bad- I just can't get past Mike Ness. he tries to hard.

  4. Oh man- please overlook the (numerous) typos in my previous post. I know there are spelling mistakes (I know the difference between to and too), and editing errors. I was typing fast. My apologies....or just consider me as subverting the dominant grammatical paradigm.

  5. I love how sometimes the Daytrotter Sessions prompt artists to reinvent their own work! Now that they're charging, I thank you for posting the ones that interest you!

I have that DVD, but as a Winnipegger I can't really respect the Stern Brothers (they ripped off all the band they signed from here).
